Music in the City

The band had a brilliant time last Saturday performing in the beautiful space at St. Michael’s the Archangel Church – Southampton for our return to the Music in The City festival! We were one of a large variety of acts performing across the city centre and so were especially pleased to showcase the world of brass band music to a full audience of Sotonians.

In addition to some popular favourites we took the opportunity to feature some lesser known works on our programme. This included William Rimmer’s seldom performed contest march: “Viva Pettee”. You can watch our live performance below.
