This concert promises to be one “We Will Remember Them” that you will not forget!

The Opera Babes have appeared at the Festival of Remembrance and Classical Brit Awards at the Royal Albert Hall and live on BBCRadio 2 – The Woodfalls Band is West of England Champion Band of 2017 and when this show goes out they will have just returned from another appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

Salisbury has a vibrant fan-base for all things opera and the brass band fraternity is equally strong locally but there has never been any form of “crossover”, until NOW! This fusion of “Babes and Brass” will be a ground-breaking collaboration of two of its finest exponents – both at the top of the tree in their respective genres! The band will accompany the Operas Babes with some especially commissioned arrangements. So, raise the curtain, bring up the lights, this is one not to miss!

Programme to include:-
“The Cats duet” (Duetto buffo di due gatti) by G. Rossini; “Flower Duet” by L. Delibes; “Ode to Joy” (An Die Freude) by Beethoven and “The Drinking Song” (Brindisi) from La Traviata by Verdi.

All proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion “Poppy Apeal”
